An “intact”, pure coffee. The volcano coffee, soaked only by its scent, is Guatemala N. Out of class and intact. Characteristics: Lush crema with professional preparation. Particularly soft acid structure for an Arabica due to the growth and processing conditions. As espresso: immensely full-bodied, smooth and sheer plump, notes of dark chocolate, distinct roasted aromas (but not over-roasted, medium roast, no pronounced burnt notes, but subtle hints of smoke and tobacco). With brown sugar: reminiscent of Russian bread and spiced bread/sausage/gingerbread. A hint of vanilla and roasted hazelnuts on the nose in addition to the aromas also discernible in the mouth. Limited in length and assertiveness against milk due to the markedly soft acid structure; fine up to cappuccino, with nice harmonious dark chocolate notes. Discreetly cocoa-like with more lavish additions of milk. Our recommendation for all those who are looking for a decidedly full-bodied but harmonious espresso.
